Frequently asked questions about the various cadvilla versions:
To answer the questions, we have in some cases prepared flash videos. The videos are best displayed with a minimum resolution of 900 x 700 pixels. The videos can also be shown in your browser in full-screen mode. To switch to full-screen mode press function key F11 before you start the video in the browser window. To return to normal mode press function key F11 again.
A control bar for operating the videos is provided at the bottom of the video. After clicking on “Start video” it may take some time for the video to be loaded.

To answer this question we have prepared a comprehensive learning video. The video shows the various possibilities for inserting walls using construction aids and guidelines.
- How does the delete assistant work?
The best way to delete elements is with the aid of the delete assistant. Its use is demonstrated in the flash video included.
- What is the simplest way to compile overall plans?
To simplify the use of the Plan Layout function, we have prepared a comprehensive learning video. Plan Layout enables you to arrange, create and output plans and drawings based on the overall 3D model.
We offer online support to answer your questions as quickly as possible.
To access your PC online we use Teamviewer, a product of Teamviewer GmbH in Göppingen. Further information about this product can be found under www.teamviewer.com .
The procedure for online support is as follows:
- Please download from our server the cadvilla remote support software (from Teamviewer GmbH, size approx. 1.43 MB) by clicking on the remote-support buttom and then start this program. You can of course also download the program directly from the Teamviewer website.
- On start-up the program opens a window in which your user-id and an associated password are displayed.
- Call us on the telephone number shown and arrange an online support date.
- For online support we require your user-id and password. Please supply us with this information before the start of the online session.
- We will then enter this information into our system, allowing us to gain access to your computer and to remotely operate it. All actions which we carry out are displayed in parallel on your monitor.
- At the same time communication can be maintained by telephone, or over Skype or Chat.

Once you close the window for cadvilla online support it is no longer possible for us to access your computer and remotely operate it. Each time cadvilla online support is started your user-id remains unchanged but a new password is generated.
Please note: Uploading files to our server can take some time. Once the transfer is complete a preview of the uploaded data is shown.
