<code>Roof construction<\/code> &gt; <code>Insert roof<\/code> &gt; <code>Insert roof on polygonal contour<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the 8 corner points along the walls and the new guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>End the process with right-click &gt; <code>Complete<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>[08:36] Change profile type to gable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the roof dialog that is now open, select the three corresponding roof sides.<\/li>\n<li>Change the profile type for each of these sides to <code>Gable<\/code> and confirm with <code>OK<\/code>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>[09:12] Adjust overhang in the properties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If a protruding roof corner is visible in the 3D model, measure the difference in the 2D view (e.g., with the shortcut <code>D<\/code> for the distance function).<\/li>\n<li>Select the roof in the 3D model, right-click and select <code>Properties<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the affected roof side and reduce the <code>Overhang<\/code> by the measured value (e.g., to <code>0.45<\/code> m).<\/li>\n<li>Confirm with <code>Tab<\/code> and then with <code>OK<\/code>.
