How to use the walkthrough mode to wander through a building in the 3D-view

When you press the F2-key in the 3D-view you can switch into the “Walkthrough” mode. To end the walkthrough mode we press the “ESC” key.

After you have pressed the shortcut F2, you are in the selected floor (the floor gets displayed in red colour on the right side) on a view height of 1,50 meters.

When you move the mouse you can move the head of the spectator.

If you move the mouse to the right, you will change the view from the current position to the right.
If you move the mouse to the left, you will change the view from the current position to the left.
If you move the mouse up, you will change the view from the current position upwards.
If you move the mouse down, you will change the view from the current position downwards.

If you turn the mouse wheel you will change the view height from which you can look at the object. This function works also with the “Page up” – “Page down” keys.

To move through the project you can use the cursor keys. With this keys you can control the “feet” of the spectator.

If you press the cursor key up, you will move forward – into the room.
If you press the cursor key down, you will move backwards – out of the room.
If you press the cursor key to the right, you will move laterally to the right.
If you press the cursor key to the left, you will move laterally to the left.
If you press and hold the “SHIFT” key you can speed up the movements.

If you move with the cursor out of the 3D-view the walkthrough stops. When you move again the cursor into the 3D-view the walkthrough starts again. To suppress this process you can press one of the mouse buttons and move the mouse at the same time.
